Real Estate / Site Selection comparison

LoopNet vs Crexi

How LoopNet and Crexi compare for wellness franchise operators — side-by-side specs and our verdict on which fits which concept.

Short answer

The two big CRE marketplaces. LoopNet has the deepest inventory and the traffic advantage of CoStar's ecosystem — if a retail space is being marketed, it is probably there. Crexi is the fast-growing challenger with a more modern interface, free-er access to deal documents, and momentum among brokers frustrated by CoStar-family pricing; its inventory is strong and improving but still thinner in some secondary markets. For a tenant search, the practical answer is both — they're free to browse and neither has everything. The caution applies equally: marketplaces show marketed space, and many of the best franchise sites (second-generation restaurant space, off-market strip retail) trade through tenant-rep brokers before ever hitting a listing site. Use the marketplaces to learn the market; use a broker to actually find the site.
